Eggs

Yesterday we gave the boys some scrambled eggs.

First a little touch on the cheek, then on the lip, then a tiny bite, then a teaspoon full. Each time we waited 10 mins before the next step. We’re happy to report neither boy reacted to the egg!!! And even happier to report both boys LOVE scrambled egg, and ate the whole egg between them yesterday. This morning for breakfast they had an egg each and ate the whole thing again.

WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

We’re also pleased to report that Ben’s salicylate sensitivity is getting better. He ate half a spinach and ricotta vol-au-vont that Sal made (one of my favourites!). This is very high in salicylates and he’d never had it before. Both boys gobbled up their half and loved it. We’re excited to be able to introduce a wider variety of vegetables into their diet, as well as eggs. We’re looking forward to making some quiches in the near future.
